WCAG Accessibility Mode

Accessible safeguards, one switch away.

Apply a consistent, accessible presentation to a form with high contrast, clear keyboard focus, improved labels and errors, touch-friendly controls and responsive question layouts.

01

Contrast and focus

Form colours are overridden with a readable high-contrast palette and prominent focus indicators for keyboard users.

02

Labels and errors

Grouped questions gain stronger semantics, guidance is associated with controls and validation messages are announced clearly.

03

Accessible alternatives

Wide matrices stack on small screens, drawn signatures become typed names and Gorilla Gate uses its automatic check.

A dependable override

Prioritise access over decorative settings.

When enabled, the form uses standard display, neutral high-contrast colours, touch-friendly targets and keyboard-friendly behaviour. Decorative question and header images are hidden where an accessible text alternative has not been supplied.

Included on every subscription

Enable it per form whenever you need it.

Open Form settings and select WCAG Accessibility Mode. It is off by default, so existing forms keep their current design until you choose to apply the accessibility override.

Important: this mode provides technical safeguards; it is not independent WCAG certification. Form owners should still use clear wording, meaningful labels and test the completed form with their intended audience.
